Drive away from everything you've ever
known
in the direction you never
thought you would
go.
Keep driving
past rows
of plowed and unplowed pasture,
past slow moving cattle,
past where you thought lonely ended half an hour ago.
Just you and the bug splatter
in front of you.
Just you and the memory of everything.
At some point
you will see a sign,
you will see a light,
and that's how you'll know you are here.
